Gourmet lovers dream! Le Zie have created a unique Gift Box including Le Zie's artisan made Linguine pasta from Gragnano, reputed to be the birthplace of pasta. Made from Durum Wheat and water this bronze cut pasta is made with passion and then air dried at low temperature for at least 24 hours. Our pasta factory is located in the enchanting scenery of “The Valley of Mills” in Gragnano, a small town south of Naples in the region of Campania. This is where clear spring water, mixed with excellent raw materials and the light wind breeze, have produced a unique pasta for more than 5 centuries. The bronze-drawing and lengthy drying process at very low temperature gives our pasta a particular roughness which better absorb the sauce, enhancing both traditional and new dishes and original tastes. Also included is Le Zie's Natural Flavored Olive Oil, 16.9 fl.oz, made from truly hand picked olives growing at Le Zie's orchard in Maddaloni. Our harvest take place in October when the olives ripe and turn color from green to black/brown. We ensure our olives are in the press within a few hours. Using this traditional process and a modern press results in a superior category olive oil with a fresh grassy nose and pepper finish with an acidity level around 0.3%. The Gift set also include a Stainless Steel Oil Can with 2 ceramic plates great for use around the dinner table.
